Designer Bio
My name is Jaclyn Jaquez and I am from a small town called Robstown, Texas. Robstown is where I graduated High School in 2013, got my start in Graphic Design and earned credits from Texas A&M University Kingsville. I then attended Del Mar College where I learned some computer programming, art and gained broadcasting experience. I am going to Southern New Hampshire University in the hopes to earn a bachelor’s in graphic design with emphasis on Web Design. I am a mother of three kids who gave me the inspiration to pursue my degree in a field that I love and one day help provide more for my family financially.
I currently work at a County Library where I have gained much experience in marketing by printed and online materials including social media. Over the years I have gained skills in Graphic Design such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Aero, Google Sites, Google Slides, Google Forms, Canva, Mailchimp, some HTML, Design Principles, Typography, branding and ideation. I have been so fortunate to have instructors, mentors and a supportive family that have given me the opportunities to gain these experiences and skills. I plan to utilize all that I have learned to continue my education and get my masters. I also hope to one day use my talents to help others like non-profits who cannot afford to pay for marketing.
